JOB DESCRIPTION
Analyst, Investment Performance Reporting
You will be a source of investment performance and system knowledge, and collaborate with external parties such as fund administrators, custodians, and various index vendors.
Analyst/Associate, Client Onboarding
The Onboarding Team leads the onboarding of portfolios and supports account maintenance within the retail channel. Onboarding sits at the center of BlackRock’s Sales, Portfolio Management, Investment Operations, and Corporate Functions teams across all regions.
Analyst – Sales Support, Cash & Asset Management / Reconciliation
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical, operational and solutioning support to the client and product lifecycle in this this growing, fast-paced business. The role will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to execute across multiple facets of the business, supporting a positive client experience and improving controls & efficiencies.
Roles And Responsibilities
Analyst, Investment Performance Reporting
- Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all the reports & analytics supported by the team and ensuring consistent quality of content delivered.
- Research residuals using the Aladdin platform and suggest resolutions.
- Gain full understanding of internal analytical systems (Aladdin), and use them to investigate internal and external client inquiries and support our growing business needs.
- Display integrity and confidence when dealing with different teams – be open to taking ownership and try to understand the data flows and dependencies.
- Participate and lead different tech initiatives for efficiency and re-engineering.
Analyst/Associate, Client Onboarding
- Onboarding of new SMA client accounts within BlackRock’s retail channels.
- Accurate and timely responses to all requests coming into the SMA New Accounts Onboarding team from internal partners & external clients.
- Collaborate with sales and relationship teams to clarify business requirements for successful client onboarding.
- Foster positive relationships with our internal collaborators (Sales, Portfolio Managers) by actively listening to their needs and consistently delivering results for the firm.
- Manage time between day-to-day responsibilities and project involvement. Liaise with senior management in weekly/monthly meetings.
- Understand and interpret the differences in the various BlackRock products. Seek out opportunities for improving execution and minimizing risks.
Analyst – Sales Support, Cash & Asset Management
- Support the broad sales function (for example account opening incl AML/KYC client query management, client reporting, record keeping and ongoing regulatory obligations) across Corporates, Non-Bank Financials and Bank sectors.
- Support Cash Leadership in providing operational, analytical and platform management support to this growing, fast-paced business.
- Completing day to day assigned tasks; including, control reports, cash and position break resolution, inbox and dashboard monitoring, client and portfolio data maintenance, and daily subscription/redemption activity.
- Providing high quality client service externally and internally. Address inquiries, perform controls, resolve problems, and mitigate risks for clients and internal BlackRock partners.
- Preparing, and/or reviewing reconciliations between BlackRock, Asset Manager, and Custodian Bank. Includes researching differences and resolving them in a timely and accurate manner
- Performing ongoing maintenance of the existing accounts to reflect client or account level changes.
