JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking candidates who will be working within our Upstream Asset Valuation Team where you will engage with over 3,000 assets updated annually.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Enhance asset analysis by gathering and providing key data to principal analysts.
- Boost team productivity through data automation and VBA implementation.
- Assist in cost analysis for valuations, ensuring accurate and comprehensive assessments.
- Refine gas price assumptions and research tariffs used in valuation models to optimize forecasts.
- Support AI initiatives within the team to advance our analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across projects.
Basic Qualifications and Skills
- Recent Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Excel, including conditional formatting, pivot tables, and VBA.
- Solid understanding of upstream oil and gas concepts, including NPV, IRR, Breakeven, Capex, Opex, Tariffs, Government Take, Royalties, and Netback Prices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Self-motivated and inquisitive with a strong desire to learn.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Quick learner with strong listening skills.
