JOB DESCRIPTION
Account Management
You will be responsible for new business acquisition, upselling/ cross-selling and retention of existing business. The role offers an excellent opportunity to meet CXO level and key decision makers and build a long-term relationship with end-users across organisations. This is an institutional sales role ranging from origination to closing of the deal.
This role is to oversee a team of Associate Vice Presidents, Managers, and Customer Support Associates and increase the number of subscribers to the Cogencis WorkStation, India’s premier and top-of-the-line real-time market data platform, across the BFSI, Corporate, Conglomerate, and Sell Side customer segments within a designated area.
Technical Product Manager
This role is to deliver a complete front-end application using the latest and needed technologies as per business requirements. Bridge the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders, translating market requirements into actionable product features and enhancements.
You will be instrumental in defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and driving the execution of product initiatives to deliver maximum value to our clients. Research, analyze, and develop product features of increasingly complex nature.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Account Management
- This is an end-to-end role with responsibility of team handling, people management, coaching & mentoring and meeting new sales and retention target of Branch.
- An important aspect of the role is to support team members in establishing connections and conducting initial meetings with senior executives or CXOs level individuals in customer organizations to facilitate opportunities.
- Ensuring high level of activities and pro-active engagement with decision makers and end-users for achieving sales and retention targets and enforcing adherence to sales discipline and company policy is key.
Technical Product Manager
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, designers, and business stakeholders, to define product requirements and specifications.
- Lead the product planning process, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and creating a roadmap for product development.
- Release management
- Work closely with engineering teams and our technology partners to ensure timely and successful delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for innovation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Account Management
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Presentation skills.
- Prior team handling experience is preferred.
- Excellent selling skills with focus on numbers.
- Willingness and Ability to learn.
- Relationship building capability.
- Good Negotiation and Influencing Skills.
- Proven experience in developing customer retention strategies.
Technical Product Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in technical product management, preferably in the financial services or data analytics industry.
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development methodologies, data structures, and APIs.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts, with experience implementing AI-driven solutions in a product context.
- Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing Certified).
