Financial Services Industry Advisor

As a Financial Services Industry Advisor – Asia on the Industry Sales team, you will have the opportunity to lead industry-focused sales for Microsoft with assigned accounts in Financial Services Industry (sell-side, buy-side, markets Infrastructures, data and analytics). This role is responsible for originating sales and driving industry-led conversations with clients. Accountabilities include developing and winning market-making opportunities that deliver customer value and enabling transformational customer outcomes.

 

HR

The HR Services center of excellence provides operational and support services for Microsoft HR programs, with primary areas of focus being customer support services, core HR operations (HR data administration, onboarding, leave administration, staffing, learning & development, etc.), business process optimization, HR online solutions, and project management. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

Financial Services Industry Advisor

• Leverage your Financial Services Industry domain expertise and C-suite relationships with clients to accelerate digital transformation with Microsoft Cloud resulting in net-new revenue opportunities and growth.
• Originate new opportunities across assigned customers, incubate new Line of Business (LOB) opportunities for Microsoft that drive adoption of our solution areas such as Microsoft Azure, Data & AI, Modern Work, Business Applications as well as Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and System Integrators (SI) solutions by positioning repeatable Go To Market (GTM) industry solutions.
• Be the trusted advisor with Business Decision Maker’s (BDM) to position Microsoft Financial Services Industry POV and related priorities. Identify and advance opportunities for new and innovate repeatable Industry solution plays.

 

HR

• Working in a highly data sensitive environment, responsible for protecting Data Privacy at all time and adhering to confidentiality requirements to promote zero breach of compliance policies
• Recommend solutions to process failings and contribute to the continuous improvement process
• Independently responds to complex internal and/or external partner issues, advocating for the partner/customer, and influences the decision making on deliverables.
• Provide customer support by working with internal partners or customers worldwide, to answer questions and resolve transaction problems. Able to independently resolve exceptions by using discretion

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

Financial Services Industry Advisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 7+ years of experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., Banking, Insurance & Capital Markets, Financial Services) or Industry focused Consulting environment, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)

 

HR

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resource Management or Customer Service preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in data entry or management
• Experience in ERP (PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP – preferably SAP)
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) with an ability to respond to customer queries
• Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information. Ability to apply judgment to address customer root needs; includes asking targeted questions
