Client Operations – Business Data Analyst – Associate
JP MORGAN- The EMEA Client Operations team is an integral part of the International Private Bank, involved in all stages of the client lifecycle, from new client onboarding, ongoing risk reviews and maintenance of existing clients. The team ensures adherence to regulatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements for the International Private Bank. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be managing extensive and complex data sets to produce reports which will inform management decisions.
Quant Analytics – Associate
Within the broader CCB Data & Analytics team, the Consumer Bank Customer Analytics team is responsible for understanding our existing customers’ behavior, financial goals, product preferences, and cross-channel interactions through advanced analytics (e.g., Machine Learning, AI). While our team primarily focuses on our 40+ million deposit and investment clients, we frequently work with partners from across other lines of business (e.g., Card, Home Lending, Business Banking, Private Banking).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Client Operations – Business Data Analyst – Associate
- Manage day-to-day reporting commitments for internal stakeholders
- Support the preparation of senior management presentations through the provision of meaningful data
- Develop data-led solutions to workflows and processes
- Data analysis including data collection synthesis and presentation
- Support strategic transformation initiatives through provision of core client data and performance tracking
Quant Analytics – Associate
- Interact with the stakeholders to understand business needs and work closely with them to produce efficient solutions.
- Writing SQL Codes/Stored procedures capturing all the logics to identify the exceptions, developing Tableau dashboards – taking ownership end-to-end.
- Ensure codes are designed efficiently to maximize performance and consistency of reporting environment. Enhance ad-hoc reporting capabilities for broad user community.
- Ensure the reporting elements are organized, clearly labeled, and assigned meaningful descriptions. Ensure commonly used formulas and variables are built into reporting universe. Ensure all the reporting elements are automated and executing in a controlled environment and has appropriate documentation in Bit bucket repository.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Client Operations – Business Data Analyst – Associate
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or prior financial services and data analysis experience
- Fluency in English is required
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills and with ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated team-player
- Experience in data analysis and MI tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Qliksense)
Quant Analytics – Associate
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in quantitative discipline such as business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, information system, or mathematics with 4-7 years of experience in Data Transformation and Visualization.
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL code and automating processes to source, transform and analyze data from multiple sources including structured and unstructured data preferred. Hands-on experience with standard data analytics tools and technologies (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx & Snowflake).
- Flexibility/adaptability, ability to listen and defend or change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage and deliver in an innovation-operated and fast-paced environment.
