JOB DESCRIPTION
Market Risk ADTV Data Analysis – Associate
Ensure valid Average Daily Traded Volume (ADTV) data is fed into our in-house Gross Market Concentration (GMC) risk and Strategic Stress liquidity add-on calculations. GMC is a limit framework used by the firm’s Credit Officers to approve trades and manage concentrated positions at the counterparty level versus the size of the traded market measured by ADTV.
Marketing Communication Controls & Compliance Analyst
You will be supporting the U.S. Investment teams in their marketing efforts. You will be responsible for partnering with and providing regulatory guidance to various LOBs at every level of our marketing and sales organization to build internal controls to help ensure marketing and other communications meets applicable regulatory standards.
Fund Accounting – WHEM
As a Fund Accounting Associate you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership in coordinating and monitoring Fund Accounting/reporting/regulatory activities to ensure on time and accurate creation, review and delivery of the work for WHEM [night shift operations] . Work with partners and local senior management to ensure all deliverables are met on time and as per agreed service level agreements and regulatory deadlines.
Roles And Responsibilities
Market Risk ADTV Data Analysis – Associate
- Analyze and verify ADTV time series data used for concentration risk and liquidity add-on calculations across several asset classes;
- Identify spurious data like spikes and gaps, and liaise with stakeholders for remedial action;
- Interpret data, analyze results, and summarize complex data into understandable and actionable insights for decision-makers;
- Define data quality metrics and produce periodic KPI reports distributed to stakeholders, control functions and senior management;
Marketing Communication Controls & Compliance Analyst
- Create reliable internal controls and monitor adherence to those objectives.
- Collaborate with outside professionals, including external audit, Legal/Compliance, Risks and Controls Management as needed.
- Educate and train employees on all necessary marketing regulations and industry practices.
- Listen to and address employee concerns and questions on regulatory requirements.
Fund Accounting – WHEM
- Oversee the entire workflow of Fund Accounting operations, ensuring effective operational management and control of daily activities within the team.
- Ensure completion and sign-off of all daily controls and processing, including resolving client service inquiries and producing key metrics as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the department to keep staff informed of strategic and regulatory changes within the organization.
- Continuously review and update Standard Operating Procedures to align with new policies and ongoing risk management efforts.
- Contribute to the strategic development of Fund Accounting products and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across locations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Market Risk ADTV Data Analysis – Associate
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM, Finance or relevant fields; and Knowledge of market risk concepts and various financial products across asset classes;
- Experience with performing statistical analysis on large and unstructured datasets;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, using advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc. and robust control mindset to identify gaps in data production and data control processes;
Marketing Communication Controls & Compliance Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or a related field.
- Familiar with all aspects of asset management marketing and sales regulations. Including but not limited to the following regulatory body: FINRA, the S.E.C, the O.C.C.; the DOL
- Atleast 2 years experience in the asset management industry in compliance or related function.
- Strong business acumen. Excellent collaborative teamwork skills. Attention to detail and strategic thinking style.
Fund Accounting – WHEM
- The candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in fund accounting, with a solid understanding of financial products and extensive work in these areas.
- A postgraduate degree with a major in Finance or Accounting is considered an added advantage.
- The role requires strong attention to detail when reviewing documents and excellent analytical skills for evaluating Fund Accounting numbers and reports.
