JOB DESCRIPTION
Data Analyst, Optimization
IN BCG You will collaborate with case teams to gather requirements, specify, design, develop, deliver and support analytic solutions serving client needs. You will provide technical support through deeper understanding of relevant data analytics solutions and processes to build high quality and efficient analytic solutions.
Growth Architect
The Growth Architect is responsible for injecting expert growth and marketing strategies into our project work. This person will act as a core member on a case team, often owning a key module and contributing directly to the project outcome. They continuously seek to evolve the industry standard for growth marketing best practices, rapidly inventing transformative new strategies to validate, launch, and scale customer growth programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Data Analyst, Optimization
- Acquiring deep expertise in at least one analytics topic & understanding of all analytics capabilities
- Defining and explaining expected analytics outcome; defining approach selection
- Delivering original analysis and insights to case teams, typically owning all or part of an analytics module and integrating with case teams
- Communicating analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results (including PPT slides and charts) with consultants, collects, synthesizes, analyses case team learning & inputs into new best practices and methodologies
Growth Architect
- Be an authoritative marketing voice within a multi-disciplinary team to identify highest value use cases to unlock growth across Marketing, Customer Experience, and Sales touchpoints
- Drive growth strategy, execution, and optimization for clients during digitally-centric project work
- Define, execute, analyze, and optimize sophisticated technical marketing uses cases ranging from pilot to scale, mapping to real, observable quantitative and financial impact
- Convert insights into action: drive customer acquisition & retention from ideation to execution
Basic Qualification & Skills:
Data Analyst, Optimization
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in a field linked to Operations Research, Industrial engineering, statistics or economics, applied mathematics, computer science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- At least 2-4 years of relevant industry work experience providing analytics solutions in a commercial setting
- Prior work experience in a global organization, preferably in a professional services organization in data analytics role
Growth Architect
- 2 – 4 years of professional experience in industry, consulting, or agency, with B2C or B2B Marketing experience required
- Knowledge of or experience with leveraging marketing measurement tactics such as: Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI), Matched-market or AB Testing, Web/App Analytics, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV/LTV), etc.
- Previous experience focused on user acquisition, retention and other growth levers ideally with digital products and services
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline like Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field
