To identify and source high-quality second-hand cars for the Australian market (Car Stock/Leads will be made available by our B2B Partners)
Content Editor
As a Content Editor, you’re not just correcting grammar; you’re shaping the heartbeat of our car-related content. Your role spans Australia and the UAE, where you’ll infuse passion, precision, and an unrivaled tone into every word. The Content Editor at CARS24 plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, tone, and grammatical precision of car-related content generated by our writers. The primary responsibility includes thorough verification, copy-checking, and editing to maintain the highest quality standards. This role would be aligned with the Australia & UAE business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
B2B associates
- Preparation, Bidding and Post approval process for online auctions.
- Conversations (Written over email/chat) with Wholesale/Dealers to secure inventory that meets company standards.
- Utilise Google Sheets and CARS24 proprietary tools to manage and track inventory, pricing, and procurement data.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth sourcing operations.
Content Editor
- Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of information provided in car-related content to maintain credibility.
- Copy-Editing: Ensure all content aligns with the established style guide, correcting grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors.
- Tone Alignment: Guarantee that the tone of the content is consistent with the brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with content writers to provide constructive feedback for improvement and maintaining a cohesive content strategy.
- Deadline Management: Manage tight deadlines by efficiently editing and approving content within established timelines.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of content across all platforms.
- Content writing: Write quality content related to cars.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
B2B associates
- Excellent communication and listening skills – comfortable in English
- Proficiency in using Google Sheets, Google Drive and other similar online platforms.
- Open for working at early hours(Australian Shift).
- Positive and enthusiastic team player
- Good to have technical knowledge about cars
Content Editor
- Content Editing: Demonstrated experience in content editing, preferably in a newsroom or editorial setting.
- Passion for Cars: A genuine interest and passion for automobiles, with an understanding of the automotive industry.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to catch errors and inconsistencies in content.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with content writers and other team members.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving style guides and industry trends.
- Experience Requirements: 3-4 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a fast-paced editorial environment.
