JOB DESCRIPTION
Associate- Investment Accounting
The purpose of the GAAPS Alternatives Fund Controllers (AFC) team is to act as the interface between the funds’ investment professionals, investors, and external contacts, such as accounting outsource providers, auditors, tax professionals, and third party distributors, etc
Associate/Vice President
The team provides level one support for Finance operational platforms and as required, will assess/trouble-shoot and identify actionable opportunities to address complex issues related to the suite of technology solutions Finance employs including Oracle Cloud SaaS platform, Financial Consolidations and Close (FCCS), IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1), IBM Cognos Analytics (BI) and our proprietary BlackRock Aladdin platform.
Associate- HR
The successful candidate will be accountable for experienced hires for our various business units in India and may be required to support the broader APAC region as needed. They will be responsible for running end to end recruitment searches while ensuring all recruitment processes are adhered to for the business unit aligned. They will also work closely with our Global Talent Acquisition team in running and supporting global initiatives on an ongoing basis.
Roles And Responsibilities
Associate- Investment Accounting
- Oversee external administration, accounting and financial reporting for assigned group of funds.
- Ensure periodic fund NAV, investor reporting, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting deliverable deadlines are met.
- Consistently perform risk assessments and proactively drive improvements in internal control environment, technology enhancements and procedures both internally and at 3rd party service provider.
- Completing day to day assigned tasks; including, control reports, cash and position break resolution, inbox and dashboard monitoring, client and portfolio data maintenance, and daily subscription/redemption activity.
Associate/Vice President Finance Platform Strategies
- The candidate will be responsible for managing large volumes of data, ensuring its accuracy and integrity. This involves loading data to the application, validating its correctness, and understanding the implications of the data on business operations and strategies.
- Identify data anomalies, ensure accuracy of reports adhering to SOX guidelines.
- Responsible for keeping relevant parties updated on downtimes, essential upgrades, or data anomalies, as well as confirming the process completion status.
Associate- HR
- Extensive partnership with Hiring Managers, Suppliers, Candidates and HR stakeholders to ensure Blackrock sources the best candidates in a timely and cost effective way – leveraging market knowledge to offer superior advice on hiring approach and best execution.
- Deployment of direct sourcing techniques including leveraging employee referrals, job board advertising, and searching proprietary/external databases and social media for qualified candidates.
- Management of recruitment agencies and/or external search partners where appropriate. Advise the Business on best in class assessment methodology including supporting the businesses with relevant market data, insights and analytics as appropriate.
