Analyst, Cash and Asset Reconciliation
The Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible for reconciling cash balances, transactions and positions, researching and timely resolving differences, preparing reconciliations, and recommending and implementing operational improvements to ensure efficient and accurate processes on behalf of the Insurance Accounting clients.
Associate, Capital Markets, Financial Markets Advisory
In this role you will use capital markets and analytical skills to design, execute, review, and deliver analyses to clients, frequently using BlackRock’s proprietary models and analytical platform.
Investment Accounting, Analyst
Primary responsibility of the GFES (GAAPS Fund Expense Services) Analyst includes processing of invoices received from service providers such as Custodians, Fund Admins, Law firms, Audit firms, etc.
Roles And Responsibilities
Analyst, Cash and Asset Reconciliation
- Completing day to day assigned tasks; including, control reports, cash and position break resolution, inbox and dashboard monitoring, client and portfolio data maintenance, and daily subscription/redemption activity.
- Providing high quality client service externally and internally. Address inquiries, perform controls, resolve problems, and mitigate risks for clients and internal BlackRock partners.
- Preparing, and/or reviewing reconciliations between BlackRock, Asset Manager, and Custodian Bank. Includes researching differences and resolving them in a timely and accurate manner
Associate, Capital Markets, Financial Markets Advisory
- Candidates must be interested in financial markets and be able to apply creative solutions to solve client objectives and challenges. Team members will develop deeper subject matter expertise about relevant fixed income asset classes and understand key objectives for financial institutions.
- The ideal applicant will craft and execute analyses in support of a variety of client objectives. The role involves frequent interaction and engagement with FMA team members globally and with partner teams across the firm. We deploy the breadth and depth of BlackRock’s capabilities to deliver success to our clients.
- The role requires keeping abreast of the evolving fixed income landscape, broad capital markets, and financial institutions trends.
Investment Accounting, Analyst
- Ensure that the SLA’s are always maintained and help preserve the firm-vendor relationships to ensure continuity in service provided by the vendors.
- Strict adherence to the expense eligibility matrix to ensure invoices are processed and charged correctly either to the fund or the firm.
- Liaise and follow-up with internal teams to ensure invoices are getting approved and raise as deemed appropriate.
- Follow the control matrix to ensure risk areas are covered to prevent instances such as duplicate invoices or the risks associated with partial or manually paid invoices.
- Adherence to various teams’ expense policy and ensure its updated and fine tuned as the business and funds evolve.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Analyst, Cash and Asset Reconciliation
- 1-4 years of work experience in cash recon process
- The ability to prioritize and balance multiple requests without losing sight of our overall objectives and deadlines
- Strong decision-making skills to make well-thought-out decisions based on the information provided and to obtain further assistance/clarification when necessary
Associate, Capital Markets, Financial Markets Advisory
- 1 – 4 years of fixed income experience; familiarity with valuation and risk assessment of securitized products strongly preferred
- Knowledge of securitized product data sources, e.g., Bloomberg, Intex, Trepp a plus
- Experience with performing advanced analyses in Excel; Python programming skills preferred.
- Interest in understanding financial institutions and broader capital markets.
Investment Accounting, Analyst
- 1-3 years’ experience (desired but not required) working within a financial services or banking platform, with financial securities, private placements, and limited offerings a plus.
- Knowledge of financial concepts, doing client billing and invoicing, Purchase orders, ability to speak thoughtfully while using applied financial reasoning.
- Have working knowledge of Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Alts products
- Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
