JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Analyst – Global Business
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG’s TMT Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights. You will work together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Data Analyst, Client Ops, Predictive
As a part of BCG’s X OPERATE team you will be working to accelerate a growing business focused on Hyper Care, premium Maintenance / Support for BCG Software and AI Products / Projects which are used as client leave-behinds. You will be closely working with consulting teams, clients and other BCG stakeholders on a diverse range of topics. Own service offerings for Software Maintenance for premium BCG products and projects, ensure these offerings are periodically benchmarked with best industry players, and lead efforts on continuous improvements with a deep focus on customer delight.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Senior Analyst – Global Business
- Establishing credibility with case teams by identifying and addressing critical knowledge for cases; taking positions/drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues; full case team integration can be possible up to 12-16 weeks in a year.
- Participating in client calls and workshops and eventually co-leading modules leveraging the proprietary data assets and deploying specific methodologies
- Supporting client proposals by compiling data and relevant information, providing research, topic input to the proposal team
- Working closely with the local BCG Global Business Services leadership to own and drive industry benchmarks and reports in your areas of expertise such as Shared Service, Centers of Excellence, Captives, Offshoring, Capability Centers etc.
Data Analyst, Client Ops, Predictive
- Acquiring deep expertise in at least one analytics topic & understanding of all analytics capabilities
- Defining and explaining expected analytics outcome; defining approach selection. Delivering original analysis and insights to BCG teams, typically owning all or part of an analytics module and integrating with case teams
- Establishing credibility by thought partnering with case teams on analytics topics; drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues related to their module
- Communicating analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results (including PowerPoint presentation, Documents, dashboard and charts) with consultants, collects, synthesizes, analyses case team learning & inputs into new best practices and methodologies
Basic Qualifications:
Senior Analyst – Global Business
- 2+ years of consulting experience in GBS / Shared Services sector strongly preferred
- In lieu of consulting experience, 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
- Master’s degree or equivalent – preferably in business admin. or business mgmt.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently in absence of supervision; exercise sound judgment.
Data Analyst, Client Ops, Predictive
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in a field linked to business analytics, statistics or economics, operations research, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- At least 2-4 years of relevant industry work experience providing analytics solutions in a commercial setting
- Prior work experience in a global organization, preferably in a professional services organization in data analytics role
- Demonstrated depth in one or more industries not limited to but including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Telco etc
