JOB DESCRIPTION
Analyst- Operations
In American express You will be working in collaboration with existing OE team, Business leads, central training function & compliance officers and Colleague relations to enhance the training capabilities associated with the sales practices program.
Manager-Financial Systems
This role is for a Product Owner in the US Regulatory Reporting automation program. This individual will be responsible to deliver the end-to-end automation of our Basel regulatory reporting platform including managing the development of revised RWA and Capital calculation under the proposed US Basel Endgame regulations. This individual will coordinate with several groups within American Express during the course of designing, implementing, and migrating the implemented solution into production.
Assistant Relationship Manager
This is a front-line Sales position in the Consumer Cards Sales team, and is responsible for driving business, achieving monthly sales targets, and acquiring new customers through consultative selling of our card’s products via defined channels of acquisition [Retail, Corporate, Venue-sales]
Roles And Responsibilities
Analyst- Operations
- Establishment of the Business Conduct program in the APAC markets.
- Supporting the continuous development and expansion of the ICS Business Conduct Program.
- Regularly connect with Sales leaders to explain coaching opportunities and share findings from the Call Monitoring.
- Stakeholder / Steering committee facilitation (coordinating the development of materials / minuting / tracking actions etc).
- Issues & risk documentation, tracking – must have a clear understating of Risk & issue management and prior experience working with senior leaders to develop mitigation / action plans to address risks.
Manager-Financial Systems
- Participate in daily meetings with the pods (implementation groups for various portfolios of the Company for data sourcing and regulatory classification and reporting).
- Participate in daily meetings and drive prioritization within scrum teams or pods
- Elicit and document technical business requirements via the creation of features and user stories
- Work with complex cross functional teams: Engineers, Architects, governance & business partners
- Understand business requirements, product gaps/requirement gaps and drive feature choices
Assistant Relationship Manager
- Prospecting for new customers through existing leads and cold calling and maximizing lead generation.
- Timely execution of all sales activities – leads, campaigns, referrals & any self-generated leads
- Tracking and reporting sales performance including pipeline, acquisition results and market conditions
- Set appointments, listen to customer needs, and sell most appropriate product.
- Researches and understands prospects before making the call.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Analyst- Operations
- Undergraduate/ Postgraduate, Risk certifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in building leadership reports
Manager-Financial Systems
- Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Information Technologies.
- 5+ years of work experience in Basel Regulatory regulations, US Federal Reserve/financial US regulatory reporting, banking/financial services, and/or Controllership.
- Knowledge of US Regulatory Reports (Y9C, Y14, Y15, 2052a, amongst others), and general understanding of the banking products.
Assistant Relationship Manager
- Minimum 6 months of front line/field sales experience in financial services, IT sales, Ecommerce, Travel, Lifestyle, Healthcare, Real Estate domain.
- Demonstrated strategic ability– able to link Amex and customer goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship building experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
