JOB DESCRIPTION
Meeting Manager
American Express Function as primary client liaison and lead for assigned programs. Handle groups through the implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics, while effectively working with clients. Responsible for coordination of program planning from hotel sourcing, execution to final billing.
Analyst-Risk Management
The Operational Resilience Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation and strengthening of the company’s operational resilience framework across the enterprise. This includes ensuring that a consistent framework is established to systematically identify important business services, measure impact tolerance, support scenario testing, and provide senior leadership reporting of significant operational resilience risks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Meeting Manager
- Complete project timeline, establish a workflow schedule with client and suppliers to facilitate timely and accurate handling
- Estimate global destination airfares for budgeting purposes.
- Collaborate with all travel desks to ensure compliance with the firm’s policies/ travel guidelines for all bookings.
- Hotel Sourcing , contracting, Group transportation arrangements
- Coordinate air/ hotel bookings with the local service team
Analyst-Risk Management
- Support the development and maintenance of the Operational Resilience governance framework, including policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in designing and delivering Operational Resilience governance reporting to required committees and AXP Board.
- Implement methodology to identify Important Business Services (IBS) and map the IBSs to locations, people, third parties, systems and critical data elements.
- Apply impact tolerance methodology to define the impact tolerance levels for each Import Business Service.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Meeting Manager
- 3-5 years meeting planning experience required.
- 4-year degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate optimally and authoritatively with all levels of management and clients.
- Ability to work accurately and timely – to meet deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible and handle change well.
- Advanced oral and written presentation skills required.
Analyst-Risk Management
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operational Risk, Business Continuity Management or related risk management programs and can drive integration between BAU and Operational Resilience processes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, set milestones and deadlines, identify risks and issues (escalating when necessary).
- Strong data analytics: Able to manipulate raw numerical and qualitative data, and convert into metrics and dashboard reporting.
- Ability to meet business partner expectations and SLAs.
