JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Operations – Transactions Analyst

J.P. Morgan Chase Bank NA (JPMCB) is a single bank branch in Mumbai rapidly expanding its revenue business in India.

As an Analyst in Corporate & Investment Bank Operations group you will be managing and supporting Global Market Operations which manages products like Rates, Currency, Options, Fixed Income, Money Markets and Loans.

Team Leader – Voice

As a Team Leader in JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for managing a team of 15-18 voice specialist. You will be accountable for achieving key service metrics, meeting or exceeding financial/productivity goals, ensuring business partner/employee satisfaction, managing and implementing ongoing improvement initiatives, while maintaining adherence to risk and controls guidelines.

You will ensure all work is processed within assigned service levels and meets Legal/Compliance requirements. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills in creating an environment where employees are engaged and deliver optimum performance.

 

Financial Analysis – Associate

Financial Analysis is responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

Operations – Transactions Analyst

 

• Have primary responsibility for Cash operations with limited activities around FX and Client Service.
• Have good product and process knowledge of NEFT/RTGS, Liquidity, Cheques, NACH, IMPS, UPI and related local regulations.
• Have knowledge and experience of handling Liquidity product- Deposits, current account, Overdraft and Local Clearing.
• Have good knowledge in CTS clearing and cash process ( pickup and Delivery), Cash Management Services – collection/ payment/ MIS
• Handle various tax payments including Direct and Indirect taxes, excise duty, and custom duty payments
• Maintaining Risk & Controls, engagement in internal and external audits

 

Team Leader – Voice

 

• Provide regular coaching & leadership & supervise the day-to-day functions of the group
• Leverage on the expertise of teams within the site and other sites to improve overall performance
• Manage team performance, leading by example and coaching on key behaviors to motivate sustained results; this includes using performance management resources to proactively monitor, coach and develop employees, recognizing strong performers and managing those not meeting performance standards.
• Demonstrate the firmwide Manager Capabilities, track your progress by regularly soliciting feedback and checking in with your team and manager on how you’re doing, and summarize your impact in your year-end Self-Evaluation.
• Promote transparency in Communication and builds an atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation
• Engage in effective Career Development activities like effective career coaching and counseling

 

Financial Analysis – Associate

 

• Financial Analysis experience is an added advantage. Should have experience in data driven analysis to provide business solution and assess impact of strategy changes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for revenue line items as per corporate timelines and continuously work on improving and maintaining high degree of forecast accuracy.
• Support regulatory submissions relating to CCAR, ICAAP, Risk Appetite, Resolution and Recovery.
• Create, maintain, and enhance multi-year financial performance for the business, assessing the impact of strategic decisions and trade-offs on the P&L.
• Develop strong understanding of various products offered by the Bank and the related revenue drivers.
• Collaborate effectively with finance, marketing and technology and business teams.
• Present results and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior leaders in the organization.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

Operations – Transactions Analyst

• Graduate/MBA
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cash Management Operations in Bank.

Team Leader – Voice

• Minimum 3 years customer service experience, preferably 2 years in a call center environment
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Influencing skills
• Change implementation skills
• Data analysis skills

Financial Analysis – Associate

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Analytics and Banking.
• Strong analytical skills with basic knowledge of either SAS/SQL or Python.
