Digital Payments Fraud Risk Strategy
As a Strategic Analytics Associate in Digital Payments, Fraud, Scam & Wrongdoer Risk Strategy Team, you’ll work with the risk team to generate thoughtful analytics and recommendations to the business concerning strategy development, implementation, operational controls, and performance monitoring.

As a Valuation Control Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Trading Specialist
The Client Service Representative will deal primarily with buy-side clients (Hedge Funds, Investment Advisors/Asset Managers) and will develop partnerships internally with various Marketers/Salespeople, individuals in Prime Brokerage, Credit Executives, Middle offices, and Line of Business Operations Teams.
Roles And Responsibilities
Digital Payments Fraud Risk Strategy
- Develop and maintain periodic analytics to provide management with full insight into emerging trends and the quality of the originated accounts
- Attain a detailed understanding of key performance metrics and profitability drivers, enabling the delivery of insights encompassing the full account lifecycle
- Conduct ad hoc analytics and contribute to various projects representing Risk Management
Valuation Control
- Execute the price verification and benchmark process, including the calculation of fair value adjustments.
- Assist with various VCG-established practices and control initiatives, performing necessary work related to management reporting, regulatory mandates, and ensuring consistency within the broader VCG framework.
- Enhance the existing control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes, assessing potential coverage developments, and implementing new tools to improve control efficiency.
- Contribute to other value-added projects related to business, risk, and finance initiatives.
Trading Specialist
- Booking Client Agreed Margin & Answering of incoming margin calls (requests for assets) sent by clients, by comparing them to JP Morgan’s exposure and agreeing on the amount and type of asset to be moved.
- Follow up on any counterparty failed settlements and investigation of disputed margin requirements
- Timely resolution of incoming queries regarding a client’s portfolio, examples being Trade Breaks, Interest Calculations, Commissions & Eligibility to name a few
- Accurate and appropriate escalation of issues in line with regulatory requirements
- Continued development of the Clearing Client Service offering & efficiency generation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Digital Payments Fraud Risk Strategy
- Minimum 3 years Risk Management or other quantitative experience with MS degree.
- Minimum 5 years Risk Management or other quantitative experience with BS degree.
- Background in statistics, econometric, or other quantitative field required
- Advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software
Valuation Control
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
Trading Specialist
- External Client services experience, or similar experience interacting with senior/demanding internal clients and effective relationship building with a wide variety of stakeholders, for example; Clients, Credit Execs and Business Partners.
- Must possess heightened communication skills, as the role involves detailed interactions across multiple lines of business and core processing areas.
- Confidence to meet with clients and deliver feedback on data relating to the clients’ interactions with the team
