Assistant Manager –  Strategy – Research & Insights

Collaborate with Deloitte’s senior leadership by extending program support and strategy development for strategic priorities related to (but not limited to) growth competition, innovation, industry disruptions, alliances, and ecosystems.

Roles And Responsibilities

 

Assistant Manager –  Strategy – Research & Insights

  • Provide consultative solutions by applying program management techniques and methodologies.
  • Devise and implement best practices for the coordination and tracking of program goals. Set common expectations and standards for all projects and participants involved.
  • Develop agendas, manage the cadence of updates, and disburse information to workstreams to improve the program’s efficient functioning.
  • Develop tools and tracking mechanisms for key performance indicators and create reports for leadership consumption.
  • Address specific research needs for the program which could include competitive intelligence, industry, and topic-specific insights.

 

Senior Consultant

  • Conduct Client workshops
  • Gather and document tax requirements for business and performing system fit and gapanalysis
  • Advising clients on Tax department strategy/policy including Tax assessment from a people, process, technology, and governance point of view
  • Process improvements, redesigning client tax departments and evaluating automation opportunities
  • Work on design and development of tax solutions

Basic Qualifications

Assistant Manager –  Strategy – Research & Insights

  • Overall, 6-8 years with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in program management, internal corporate strategy roles, and reporting to leadership-level audiences.
  • Client-service exposure or experience in working with senior leadership directly is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project ownership, and a strong track record of executing high-impact projects and initiatives.
  • Certification in program management from a reputed institution (PMI, IASSC, SCRUM) is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience working on Generative AI tools. Exposure to prompt engineering is an added advantage.

 

Senior Consultant

  • Full time Masters/Bachelor’s in Engineering/Finance/Accounts or equivalent from reputedUniversity
  • MBA or Chartered Accountant with experience in Finance, Accounting, Taxation andAuditing
  • 4 – 7 years of experience Oracle EBS finance modules or Oracle Financials Cloud modules that impact tax.
