JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Account Manager
Act as a member of the Store Sales team and proactively contribute to commercial plan/output to deliver to the common objectives and goals. Analyse the local market, specifically business customers and their business needs, and use this knowledge to improve the business customers’ shopping experience. Create the KAM strategy and action plan to deliver to the market business plan with input from key stakeholders.
Engineer (Architect)
Lead the development in the Cluster on how to engage with designers to continuously find cost efficient and innovative design processes by optimizing the delivery of our partners and stakeholder’s competence and knowledge into the project design. Work and engage closely with Construction Manager and Construction Project Managers to optimize, innovate and develop the best for project methods for design-construct interaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key Account Manager
- Act as a member of the Store Sales team and proactively contribute to commercial plan/output to deliver to the common objectives and goals.
- Analyse the local market, specifically business customers and their business needs, and use this knowledge to improve the business customers’ shopping experience.
- Create the KAM strategy and action plan to deliver to the market business plan with input from key stakeholders.
- Responsible for overseeing execution of won deals, coordinating and collaborating with co-workers across the business to proactively manage the process and avert issues.
- Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA.
Architect
- Support Construction colleagues in regards of technical / engineering / architectural aspects.
- Co-ordinate and maintain the cluster knowledge-based regarding Ingka requirements and local/national code requirements relating to the design and construction of Ingka buildings.
- Maintain and secure up-to-date awareness and understanding of all frameworks, guidelines and initiatives issued by Group Real Estate, and ensure these are communicated to Construction Project Managers and external partners as needed
- Provide support to the project development phase in engineering and architectural matters.
- Evaluate the technical aspects of new construction techniques and follow the national development in the field of construction engineering
Basic Qualification & Skills:
Key Account Manager
- Experience of working in a commercial or sales role in an organization (including previous management experience.
- Proven record of consistently meeting agreed budgets and goals and working on business plans over a number of years .
- Experience of using knowledge of customer shopping behavior to develop long-term strategic plans, set budgets and follow up goals (sales, profitability).
- Ability to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of resources available.
- Self-starting, self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Experience from retail, preferably home furnishing sector or B2B/ KAM Experience in planning, driving output and measuring performance (business and people).
Architect
- Experience within the retail sector is an advantage
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
- Knowledge of principles of energy, water, emissions and waste management in a construction project to keep the environmental impact to a minimum; included knowledge of energy modelling and life cycle cost evaluation.
